AI Visibility Strategy
Get named when AI recommends your category
I make sure ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude cite your brand when your buyers ask.
Ask AI about your category and it names a few brands, then stops. There is no page two, no slow climb up a results page. You are in that answer or you are invisible to the buyer reading it.
Getting in takes a different set of signals than ranking on Google, and that is the work I do.
Visibility Where Buyers Already Ask
Citations in AI answers
Show up in the answers your buyers actually see across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude.
A straight read on your position
See where you stand, who gets picked instead of you, and which signals are deciding the shortlist.
Traffic that arrives half-sold
Earn visits from buyers who have already been recommended your brand by the AI tool they trust.
The Signals AI Systems Trust
Getting cited is not one trick. A model weighs a whole stack of signals when it decides who to name, and most companies are strong on one or two and blind to the rest.
Here is what I build, and what each piece is there to do for you.
Entity and authority
Making your brand something the model recognises, not a string of text it has to guess about. I give the AI a clean, consistent definition of who you are and connect it to the records it already trusts.
- The model treats you as a known entity instead of confusing you with a similarly named one
- Your core facts stay identical everywhere a model checks: what you do, who you serve, where you operate, and who runs it
- You qualify for a Google Knowledge Panel and a Wikidata entry, the records AI cross-references
- Rivals stop getting named in answers that should have been yours
Off-page authority and earned media
What other people say about you counts for more than what you say about yourself. This is the signal most companies underfund, and the one that shifts citations fastest.
- Independent sources confirm your claims, so the model treats them as fact
- Coverage on high-authority domains pulls you into a wider range of answers
- Journalist and analyst references frame you as a category reference, not just another vendor
- You show up in the research the AI ran before it ever opened your site
- Links from credible sources reinforce the entire entity picture
Content built to be cited
Writing in the shape a model can lift and quote. Plenty of content ranks; very little is built to be extracted into an answer.
- Your pages answer the exact questions buyers type into AI
- A model can pull a clean, correct passage without rewriting or guessing
- Your data and comparisons become the thing the AI quotes by name
Topical authority and depth
Covering a subject thoroughly enough that the model reads you as a specialist rather than a dabbler. AI favours sites with concentrated expertise.
- The model strongly associates your site with your core subject
- Related questions across the topic keep surfacing your pages
- Internal links join your content into a map the AI can follow
- Thin or off-topic pages stop diluting how focused your site looks
Third-party and community presence
AI leans hard on a small set of sources, with Reddit and YouTube near the top, plus the review platforms buyers trust. Being present and well-regarded there feeds answers directly.
- You appear in the community threads AI pulls from most
- Reviews on G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, and Gartner Peer Insights shape how the model describes you
- Video earns you citations that text alone cannot reach
- The sentiment AI repeats about you reflects a managed presence, not whatever it stumbled on
Content freshness
AI prefers recent content and quietly drops stale pages out of answers. Freshness is a signal most people set once and forget.
- Your cited pages stay current, so the model keeps choosing them
- Updated data and visible dates mark you as an active, reliable source
- You hold onto citations instead of losing them to a competitor's newer page
Technical foundations
The plumbing that decides whether AI can read you at all. None of the rest matters if the crawler hits a blank page.
- AI crawlers receive your full content, not the empty shell a JavaScript site leaves them
- The bots that drive citations are let in; the ones you do not want are kept out
- Your structured data reaches the model cleanly and validates
- Pages load and parse fast enough that crawlers do not give up partway
Agent readiness
The AI agents that now shop and book on someone's behalf need to move through your site without stalling. Building for them is building for your next channel.
- Shopping and booking agents can finish what they came to do on your site
- Forms, buttons, links, and navigation resolve cleanly for an agent, not only a human
- You are ready for the agent and commerce standards arriving over the next year
- You capture agent-driven sales that rivals lose to broken flows
Measurement
You cannot manage what your analytics will not show, and by default none of this is visible.
- AI traffic is split out instead of hidden under Direct
- You watch your share of voice across the major models move month to month
- You catch how AI describes you and correct it when it is wrong
- Reporting ties the work to mentions earned, not hours spent
For Buyers Who Research Before They Reach Out
This earns its keep when your buyers do their research before they ever reach out, and that research now starts inside an AI tool.
If your customers buy on impulse and never research, you can probably skip this. I will tell you so on the call rather than sell you something you will not use.
B2B SaaS competing to make the AI shortlist
Ecommerce and DTC brands losing discovery to AI-led shopping
Professional, financial, and healthcare firms where credentials decide who gets cited
Startups staking a category early, while the models are still learning it
Strategy, Content, and Technical SEO in One Place
I have spent more than nine years in SEO and content strategy, and I came in from engineering, which is why the technical layer is where I am strongest. Schema architecture, rendering, crawl behaviour, entity graphs: the parts most content people hand off, I do myself.
I run these programmes end to end for B2B tech and ecommerce clients, so when I look at your site I already know which fixes move citations and which ones just fill a report. You work with me, not an account manager relaying what I said.
